Honoring Calvin

In honor of his beloved beagle Calvin who went to the bridge after almost 16 years, Jeremy Moore would like to donate $40.00 to Triangle Beagle Rescue for each beagle adopted between August 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010.

Calvin, born in 1994, was adopted by the Moore family and spent her almost sixteen years as a loving companion first in Newport, NC as children were leaving for college and then in her golden years in Raleigh. Her happiest times were spent sniffing under tables for dropped food, listening for crinkling wrappers, and hunting rabbits that she would chase but never catch. This contribution is in memory of her and in the hopes that it will assist in the happiness that beagles and families bring to each other. She is and will forever be missed.

PUPPIES!

Cute, adorable puppies.

Now accepting applications for puppies.

Please read our puppy guidelines before filling out a puppy application.

Another proud May Graduate

Newly adopted Penny just graduated from Basic Obedience class.

We wonder what Penny's plans are for after graduation? Probably lots of walks, belly rubs and some serious cuddling.
A good future for sure.

We love happy endings.

Foster Homes Desperately Needed!!!
Do you have room in your home and your heart for a beagle who needs love and shelter? We need foster homes! You provide the love and the home, we provide the rest! We have several dogs in our rescue right now who are in need of foster homes and many more beagles are in local shelters who we would like to bring into the rescue. We operate solely out of individual homes and do not have any kennel space or boarding facility. We need YOU to be a Triangle Beagle Rescue foster! Please read more about fostering at http://www.tribeagles.org/adopt/foster.php and fill out a foster application today.

Life With 4 Beagles - Whether you have four dogs or just one, beagles or another breed, we think you'll enjoy this blog on life with four beagles.

Read this fabulous article on "Why We All Need to Consider Adopting an Older Dog"
TriBeagles celebrates our Senior Dogs by offering a reduced adoption fee for these wonderful dogs. Their reduced fee is noted with their picture in the gallery. One of our adopters of three of our beagles, has generously offered to donate $100 for 10 of the dogs now currently listed as Senior Dogs when they are adopted, thus making up the difference. UPDATE: Six of the seniors have already been adopted and TBR has been given $600 for those dogs. How lucky are our doggies?

If you have sent in an application and haven't heard back from us in 10 days, please fill out another application.

Due to increasing vet costs, we have raised our adoption fee to $250.00.

If you return your dog to TBR within 30 days and do not exchange the dog for another dog, all but $100 of the adoption fee will be returned to the adopter. This increase in the non-refundable amount from $50 to $100 goes into affect on May 1st, 2008.

TBR's Adoption Process

1. Fill out an application online
2. A volunteer will call to do a phone interview
3. Another volunteer will call to arrange a home visit

Hint: Wait until you have done all three steps of the Adoption Process and have been declared to be an Approved Adopter before you get your heart set on one particular beagle. There may be other applicants further on in the adoption process who are interested in the same beagle. We have new beagles coming into the rescue every week.
Sadly, there is a never ending supply of beagles needing to be rescued.
